Heritage Interpreter

Description:

The Canmore Museum is looking for a heritage interpreter to engage with visitors at the NWMP Barracks and the Canmore Museum. Reporting to the Programs Officer, this position will appeal to anyone with an interest in the human history of the Rocky Mountain region of Southern Alberta.

DUTIES

• Interpreting the historic Northwest Mounted Police Barracks
• Opening and closing the NWMP Barracks
• Provide interpretive demonstrations to visitors
• Assist with the delivery of school programs
• Execute gift shop sales, cleaning and preparation of facilities
• Support other ongoing museum activities
