The Graphic and Web Designer will play a role in crafting digital and print materials while ensuring consistency in branding and messaging. If you're passionate about graphic design and web development, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Graphic Design (40%)
- Conceptualize and produce various digital and print materials, maintaining brand consistency.
- Select colours, fonts, images, and layouts in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Develop key communication assets such as social media posts, event posters, annual reports and sponsorship packages.
Website Management (50%)
- Revamp and update content on our website (www.neighbourlink.org) using Wix.
- Design website layouts, logos and branding elements reflective of our values and audience.
Administration (10%)
- Organize the organization's Marketing and Communications folders and contacts database.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, web design or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in graphic design principles, typography, print, and web media.
- Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Google Suite, Canva, and Wix or similar website design software.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to evolving priorities.
- A vulnerable sector screening is required as part of the hiring process.
- Eligible applicants must meet Canada Summer Jobs Agreement criteria.
