Description:
GAO Tek Inc. is seeking an accomplished Technical Sales Specialist with extensive experience in technical sales within the technology or electronics sectors. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing relationships with new and existing clients, identifying business opportunities, and recommending tailored technology solutions to meet customer needs.
You will work closely with the technical sales team to provide comprehensive and persuasive proposals and presentations that showcase the value of GAO Tek’s IoT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales and Business Development: Identify, nurture, and convert new leads into clients through a combination of research, outreach, and strategic partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Create Tailored Solutions: Research GAO Tek’s IoT product offerings and develop customized solutions based on client needs. Work closely with internal teams to ensure that proposals align with the client’s business goals and technological requirements.
- Prepare Technical Proposals and Presentations: Craft compelling, high-level presentations and technical proposals that demonstrate GAO Tek’s unique value proposition. Customize documents to address client-specific challenges, driving customer engagement and closing deals effectively.
- Upsell and Cross-Sell Solutions: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services. Use your advanced knowledge of IoT technology to offer value-added solutions that meet customer needs.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by converting leads into long-term clients. Work closely with marketing and support teams to ensure the proper positioning of GAO Tek’s products in the market.
- Provide After-Sales Support: Ensure the smooth integration and successful deployment of solutions. Actively support clients’ post-sale by addressing any technical questions and assisting in ongoing solution optimization.
- Market and Product Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies in the broader tech space. Use this knowledge to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 10+ years in a technical sales role, ideally in the technology, RFID, or electronics sectors. Proven track record of successfully closing complex sales deals and managing long-term client relationships.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. Master’s degree or advanced certifications are a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Expertise in sales strategy and sales forecasting.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and deliver under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with IoT technologies and their application across various industries. Experience with complex technical product sales is required.
