Description:
This role will work on the OneStop 2.0 Delivery team as a Student, Full Stack Developer, and will assist in development solutions, building test cases, and documentation.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Develop efficient and readable/sustainable code following Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) best practices and standards for coding and DevOps practices.
Develop Unit Test.
Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation as requested by project teams.
Assist with application support task as required.
What we’re looking for in you:
Currently enrolled and has completed 2+ years of education in computer science or related field.
Strong knowledge of programming using one or more programming languages including JavaScript, Nodejs, NoSQL databases, Nodejs, RESTful APIs, JSON, KAFKA, REDIS, React, GraphQL.
Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies.
Strong communication skills.
Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
This role has a business requirement to work from thCalgary.
Additional Information:
This position is a full-time summer student position which is expected to last approximately 8 months.
Proof of enrollment in a registered institution including enrollment in the semester following the work term, or enrollment in a registered co-op program will be a condition of hire.
