What You'll Bring
- Computer science degree or equivalent
- Previous relevant experience; however, recent graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Desired Technical Skills:
- Strong software development skills using programming languages such as C#, Java, C/C++
- Experience with .NET (WPF, Windows Forms)
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, Bootstrap
- Experience with mobile development (Cordova, WebSockets)
- Exposure to XML, XSL, JSON, Web Services (REST, WSDL), and other leading-edge inter-system collaboration techniques
- Understanding of client/server applications and experience with WebSocket/socket/HTTP/SSL communications
- Exposure to map-oriented spatial presentation tools and their interface to other development tools (ESRI, Google Maps)
- Experience working with a variety of Relational DBs such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM IDS (formerly Informix), or other large-scale RDBMS
- Familiarity with Unix or Linux, as well as Windows
- Experience working with no-SQL databases or search engines such as Redis or ElasticSearch.
