Description:
A successful candidate for the Frontend Developer II role will autonomously contribute to the development and further innovations of the MinervaAI product user interfaces. This is a full-time remote role, with voluntary in-person opportunities to meet and get to know the rest of the team in Toronto.You should possess the following skills to maximize your chances of success:
Ideal Background:
- 3-5 years of industry experience developing web application interfaces or equivalent verifiable portfolio and work examples.
- Adept with vanilla HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Adept with ReactJS, ES6, and JSX syntax.
- Familiarity with frontend build frameworks such as Vite and Webpack.
- Familiarity with Typescript.
- Familiarity with Firebase (Hosting, Cloud Firestore, Storage, and Authentication).
- Familiarity with the writing of unit tests and frontend regression testing automation patterns.
- Familiarity with user testing methods and optimization of the user journey.
- Familiar with principles of design, ability to work with a team to plan and design interfaces ahead of development
- Familiarity with principles of secure authentication and client-side cybersecurity.

- Strong communication and conversational skills in English.
- Detail-oriented: a healthy obsession with alignment, pleasing visuals, consistency in experiences, and potential for vulnerabilities in a UI.
- A cautious “test before you deploy” approach to continuous integration.
