Frontend Developer

Description:

PeakTew, a social media app aiming to connect more people with the real world, is seeking a Frontend Developer to contribute to its development. This is a remote, unpaid opportunity designed for Computer Science students or individuals on a similar academic path who are passionate about working in a startup environment. You will gain international work experience and have the chance to be part of a growing, dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of front-end components and software architecture.

• Write efficient code for UI creation and frontend-backend integration.

• Collaborate on GitHub and communicate effectively with the team.

• Attend weekly team meetings to debrief on your work and progress.

• Work with multiple teams to ensure system stability, scalability, security, and performance optimization.

Required Competencies:

• Strong command of English (PeakTew operates in English).

• Enrollment in a Computer Science program or a similar academic path with the necessary skills.

• Proficiency in Flutter programming language for front-end development.

• Ability to create visually appealing user interfaces (UI).

• Experience with frontend-backend integration using APIs and frameworks.

• Familiarity with web sockets is a plus.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills with an autonomous mindset.
