Floral Designer

Description:

Processing fresh flowers, creating bouquets and arrangements for daily walk in customers and pre-orders, wrapping bouquets, cashing out customers, and answering phone calls for orders, and wedding design work. Looking for the next addition to join this fun team!

Important Details:

• Thursdays, Fridays, some Saturdays, and some Tuesday's (during busy wedding/holiday months there's potential for more hours)
• Must be able to work multiple Saturdays during peak wedding season (Would give a list of important wedding dates where coverage at the flower shop is needed)
• 3-6 hours, depending on the day/event prep work
• Must be able to work holidays (Mothers Day, Valentines, days before Christmas)
• Must be able to get to the flower shop located in Carlisle, Hamilton for prep work and/or running the shop

Duties:

- Cashing out customers

- Assisting and interacting with customers

- Packing product orders and wrapping bouquets

- Answering phone calls and taking flower orders

- Making arrangements and bouquets for orders, holidays and events

- Processing flowers and basic flower knowledge/care

-Assisting with wedding floral prep

-Plant knowledge considered an asset, own vehicle considered an asset.
