Fire Protection Design Engineer

Are you an experienced Fire Protection Design Engineer ready to take the next step into a leadership role? We’re working with a well-established firm in the building design industry looking for a Team Lead to oversee fire protection system design and project execution.

Location: Ottawa, Toronto, or Calgary (can be remote outside Toronto with P. Eng designation)

What You'll Do:
✅ Lead and mentor a team of fire protection engineers/designers
✅ Design and oversee fire suppression, alarm, and life safety systems
✅ Ensure compliance with building codes and industry regulations
✅ Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
✅ Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and efficiency

What You'll bring:
🔹 5+ years of experience in fire protection system design
🔹 Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, building codes, and fire safety standards
🔹 Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and fire protection software
🔹 Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide a team
🔹 P.Eng. designation or eligibility is required
