Description:
What you will do:
Proactively call existing Sun Life Group Retirement Savings plan members who are leaving or have left their employer retirement / savings plan to discuss the benefits of keeping their assets with Sun Life
Provide consultation to clients by providing investment and protection guidance related to their financial needs, including savings, retirement income and insurance
Create a risk assessment profile for wealth clients to align their investments to their desired risk tolerance
Keep abreast of product changes, understand new products that that come to market, keep a pulse on industry changes and competitor products
Contribute to sales targets by meeting or exceeding objectives
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 -3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry is preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of sales / service experience is required
Experience selling savings products over the phone is an asset
Completion or a college or university degree or equivalent related experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone / video conferencing
Strong listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions to understand needs
Self motivated and have the ability to work independently
