This role will be based out of our Home Office location. Our Home Office is located on the grounds of Tim Horton Onondaga Farms located in St. George Ontario. Travel may be required from time to time to fulfill the responsibilities of the role. This position will ideally work most of the time in-office. Remote and/or hybrid work arrangements may be considered.

What would you be doing?
- Manage and coordinate the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Manage and coordinate the monthly process for generating financial statements, variance explanations and internal variance reports.
- Perform ad hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making, forecasting and modelling.
- Complete assigned tasks and support the annual financial Audit that results in no adverse findings.
- Complete annual state, federal and provincial tax and registration filings as assigned, including the accurate completion of self-assessing sales taxes.
- Monitor and regularly report on cash flow.
- Accurate completion of assigned month-end and year-end entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- As needed, attend and support the preparation and execution of Finance and Audit Committees of the Board of Directors.
- Provide financial support and review of all Grant and funding applications.
- Complete required reporting on foreign bank and financial accounts.
Does this sound like you?
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field or equivalent experience
- CPA designation or equivalent
- Strong computer skills – MS Office Suite with high proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience in cross-border finance (USA and Canada) and not not-for-profit finance considered an asset
- Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.
- Experienced in planning, analysis, audit, compliance, and budgeting.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness in proposing new ways of creating efficiencies.
- Flexible and a self-starter; able to multitask while also being highly detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated creative and flexible approach to problem solving.
- Ability to submit an acceptable Criminal Record Search and proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
- Bilingual – English and French considered a strong asset.
