As a member of our team, you will work with us in providing client service and financial planning to our well-established, diverse client base with multiple objectives to advance their financial goals.
Relationship Management
- Provide gold standard client service anticipating client needs and delivering proactive and quality communications to ensure clients are apprised of details related to their accounts
- Provide clients support during market downturns and be able to communicate investment concepts to reassure clients to stay committed to their financial plans
Specifically you will:
- Assist us in responding to incoming client calls and inquiries regarding financial planning, wealth management, tax, insurance and investment options
- Identify client’s life and financial goals, provide comprehensive reviews and build long-term relationships
- Be committed to providing high quality client service by phone, email, and written communication
- Manage action requests to and from clients and document in CRM software
- Work closely with Portfolio Manager and team members to provide seamless financial planning & investment management
- Ensure that all compliance, regulations and policies are being adhered to
- Assist in preparing investment proposals, financial plans & client review presentations
- Compile income projections, net worth summaries and other client facing documents as required
- Additional tasks and projects, as required
- Contribute to business development and the growth clients served
Qualifications Required:
- IIROC licensed – completion of CSC & CPH an asset
- At least 5 years’ investment and / or financial services industry experience speaking directly with clients and conducting one on one client meetings
- Certified Financial Planner, Registered Financial Planning certificate or PFP
- High level of knowledge and experience using financial planning software such as investcloud (NaviPlan), RazorPlan and / or Snap
- Insurance license an asset
- Experience in cross-border (Canada / USA) a great asset
- Experience with a client relationship management software such as Maximizer
- You are sharp as a whip with outstanding analytical skills and ability to separate the “wheat from the chaff”
- You possess maturity and are a poised professional in all interactions
- You enjoy social interactions and working with others
