Description of Duties:
- Supervision of the Accounting Department including roles of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll/HR and full cycle Accounting
- Financial Reporting including reviewing internal reporting requirements.
- Preparation of monthly external reporting requirements
- Working with the CFO to prepare the annual financial budget
- Reporting budget to actual income statement variance results monthly
- Preparing detailed Financial Reports on cashflow
- Managing financial controls and helping to ensure the company meets cashflow goals
- Providing clear direction on financial performance through key performance indicators to Team Members.
- Maintaining, tracking, and reporting financial aspects of projects including subcontractors, materials, coding, forecasts billing
- Supporting and maintaining healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture
- Managing of inventory for multiple locations
- Other duties as required
Skills and Requirements:
- History of working in a construction company office environment
- Experience with accounting software tools and current technology
- Professionally Designated Accountant (CPA, formerly CGA, CMA, CA)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Accounting Manager or Controller role leading an Accounting Department in full cycle accounting
