Financial Analyst And Fleet Lead

We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Guelph, ON, Calgary, AB or remotely across Canada.

What will you do:

P&S Finance Business Partner

• Support Canadian P&S team in all Finance aspects and activities; including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, actual spend montioring, monthly variance reporting, cost center review and adjustments

• Represent Canada at Regional monthly P&S meetings to share commentary around spend variance and discuss spend tracking related to logistics.

• Collect and share monthly spend details and KPIs, use feedback from the sales team and other stakeholder’s to create full year spend outlook and cascade accordingly

• Support team in monthly, quarterly and year end accounting activites/entries and cost reallocations

• Participate in P&S team initiatives for cost savings projects and other forward looking activities

• Provide bi-annual review of P&S related provision accounts related to returnable totes, and deposit liability

• Assist in the annual standard cost review and provide input on changes/considerations to be included in updated projections.

Fleet Administration

• Manage the vehicle leasing program for Syngenta Canada by acting as primary point of contact between fleet vendor and employees

• Respond promptly to employee and vendor inquiries

• Lead the vehicle ordering process for eligible employees and provide program overview/orientation

• Arrange rental vehicles as required (i.e. summer interns; new employees when required)

• Ensure all company drivers maintain required fleet documentation, vehicle maintenance and resources

• Facilitate annual service delivery review meeting, with Fleet provider

• Facilitate annual auto insurance renewals, while working with our insurance broker and our internal corporate insurance team.

• Ensure the Fleet policy is kept current

• Liase with the NA (North Americian) Fleet Manager to ensure Canada fleet requirements are met and aligned.
