Financial Analyst

Description:

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Finance, this position prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the programs and services of Thrive Group member organizations. Also, conducts monthly internal billing, journal entries and account reconciliations. In addition, the Analyst provides a variety of direct banking support to residents/clients. The position is also responsible for direct service billing and collection and conducts Resident Admission Meetings to share information regarding fees and subsidies and to facilitate contract signing.

Employment Guide:

• Graduation in a recognized accounting program at the post-secondary level and possess or be working toward a CGA/CMA designation.
• Proficiency in computerized accounting software and Microsoft Office products required.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
• Must have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with be able to converse with a diverse range of people.
• Proven ability to achieve high levels of customer service essential.
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle is required for this position.
• Experience with accounts receivable and billing in the long-term care sector is an asset.
