Financial Administrative Clerk

 

Description:

This position will report directly to the Financial Manager and will be responsible for administering financial, administrative and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate operations. The Finance Clerk must be competent and able to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This position requires working as a team player with all employees, participants and volunteers at STEPs on Arthur.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation and reporting, and an ability to organize and prioritize their workday, maximizing efficiency.

This is a salaried position that may on occasion require some evenings, weekends and holidays.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING INCLUDES:

  • A Post-Secondary degree/certificate in Accounting/Business or Equivalency.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of recent and successful employment in a Financial/Administrative position.
  • Proficiency in Simply Accounting, Excel, Word, and Payroll Systems
  • This is a non-unionized position. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
