Description:
Liebherr-Canada Ltd. is actively seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead full-cycle accounting processes, drive financial forecasting, and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior management, partner with operational divisions, and mentor a direct report, while fostering a collaborative and results-driven finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain financial data systems related to full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
- Partner with operational divisions to prepare forecasts and conduct ongoing financial analysis, presenting regular reviews to senior leadership.
- Lead budget consolidation for supporting departments and prepare detailed monthly analytical reviews with budget leaders.
- Oversee the corporate internal control program, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulations.
- Support monthly and annual financial reporting requirements to the parent company, Liebherr International AG.
- Manage year-end audit processes and ensure compliance with tax legislation.
- Assist in developing Power BI dashboards to generate operational insights and improved financial analysis.
- Contribute to the cash flow forecasting process and provide key financial reports to senior management.
- Handle additional ad hoc financial projects and duties as needed.
Competencies & Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of proven leadership experience in financial reporting, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- University Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance strongly preferred.
- CPA designation is considered a strong asset.
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS, financial modeling, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with BI tools (such as Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across operational divisions.
- Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills.
