Description:
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, the Finance Clerk Level 1 is responsible for checking and inputting data as well as providing other support services. On the job training will be provided.

- Knowledge of and experience with the principles and practices of accounting.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have computer skills.
- Good working knowledge of and experience with time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must provide a criminal record check prior to employment.
- Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license.
- This position does not require daily travel, however, if asked, must be available to travel.
- Be aware of the cultural environment in which Tikinagan Child and Family Services operates.
- Appropriate educational qualifications and/or equivalent combination of experience and training to manage the tasks and responsibilities of the position.
- Ability to communicate in one of the Tikinagan Child and Family Service catchment area dialects is preferred.
