Filling Material Handler

Description:

We are currently looking for a energetic, hard-working Filling Material Handler to work a permanent full-time position on our Afternoon shift (Monday to Friday 15:00-23:00) at our Alliston facility.

The Filling Material Handler is responsible for moving trucks from the line(s) to Sterilizer staging area. Bring trays and screens to the line(s).

Due to the nature of our business, Baxter follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) which requires our employees to focus on cleanliness and contamination control. Other aspects of GMP that must be observed are no makeup or jewelry in the production areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Moving trucks, trays and screens to and from the loading area

• Trouble shoot and repair Robots as needed

• Remove empty tray bins

• Assisting on the line as needed to help the process run smoothly and effectively.

Job Requirements

• Successful completion of High School diploma or GED required (Proof will be requested)

• Experience doing repetitive tasks

• Fast-paced environment

• Seniority as defined on a company wide basis.

• Demonstrated good attendance in present position

• Demonstrated good performance & good quality in present position

• Utilize Baxter’s Shared Commitments

• Ability to support mandatory Production Saturdays

• Demonstrated basic level proficiency with the following computer applications: BMTS (handheld)
