Responsibilities:
 

• Responsible for all Network Field activity on the Cogent Network within your assigned area.
• Installation and troubleshooting of Network Elements within the Cogent Network ( Data centers, POPs, Hubs).
• Turn-up and testing of new customer circuits within carrier neutral datacenters, multitenant office buildings, and Cogent owned facilities.
• Create and maintain Network and Customer documentation for your area.
• Management of local contractors and vendors for installations and repairs within office buildings
• Independent and self-starter.
• Provide expertise in Long Haul deployments and troubleshooting.
• Maintain proficiency within the telecommunications infrastructure, fiber, CWDM and DWDM technologies.
• Work with AC and DC power systems.
