Field Business Receptionist/administrative Assistant

 

Description:

Reporting to the Senior Field Business Technician, this role is designed to assist with the ongoing day to day Northern Corridor Administrative requests originating both internally and externally. The position is based out of the Grande Prairie Office with occasional travel to Field Offices. This person has a solid understanding of Citrix applications and is able to assess the accuracy/completeness of data.

What you’ll do:

  • Review invoices in OpenInvoice and SAP systems

  • Records management and file retention - "E-filing", and hard copy

  • Liaison with Accounts Payable, Audit and Business Analyst Teams

  • Initiating correspondence and actions to include composing complex, detailed, and sensitive materials including but not limited to the creation of presentation, reports, and meeting agendas.

  • Lead general office administration tasks, such as coordinating meetings, handling expenditures, and ordering office supplies for Northern Corridor

  • Navigate through ambiguity and make sound decisions

  • Manage logistics and develop content for meetings

Who you are:

  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas terminology

  • Practical working knowledge of measurement and operations practices

  • Financial experience and associated applications

  • Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively

  • Able to work with minimal level of supervision

  • Ability to be adaptable
