Reporting to the Director, the Facilities Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient management of government owned and/or leased facilities. The incumbent will also provide reliable and responsive operation of facilities essential for the delivery of programs and services by Alberta Government Ministries. The Facilities Manager will manage a multi-disciplinary team of supervisors, staff members, consultants and/or contractors providing comprehensive facilities management services. These services include:

  • Mechanical and Electrical system operation
  • Occupational health and safety
  • Emergency planning
  • Security
  • Energy Management
  • Building Grounds and Maintenance
