Description:

Desired Skills and Suitability:
Candidates should have and may be assessed on:
- Broad knowledge related to the Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Health Economics
- Knowledge of project management standards, techniques, and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing, interpreting, and critically assessing a wide range and volume of information including health policy, legislation, federal / provincial /territorial initiatives, programs, and services
- Skills in anticipating the implications of potential changes in order to develop advice and make recommendations
- Demonstrated skills in understanding and communicating highly complex and politically sensitive health policy issues to a variant of audiences
- Demonstrated skills in understanding and communicating highly complex information to audiences
- Extensive negotiation experience, including communication, active listening, expectation management, patience, adaptability, planning, integrity, rapport building, problem solving, and decision-making.
- Extensive interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- High level of attention for accuracy and details.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of partners and clients.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, problem solve and multi-task; and,
- Able to coach and train staff and colleagues
