Estate Manager

 

Description:

Our client is looking for a Full time Estate Manager for a large property in Muskoka that operates like a five-star Luxury hotel.

 

The estate manager is expected to proactively manage all aspects of the estate including but not limited to property maintenance and renovations, leasing with contractors and service providers, manage household staff, coordinate small and large events, manage household expenditures, provide concierge services and additional projects as required.

 

This individual must demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and discretion; while utilizing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop positive working relationships with t he estate’s principal, estate staff, contractors, vendors and others.

 

Days of work are typically Monday to friday however during peak periods which require additional time outside of normal schedule. Regular working hours during the winter months.

 

Requirements:

 

Minimum 5 years experience in semi- formal style residence in management position, ideally as an Estate Manager for UHNW client.

Ideally has previous managing other staff - setting expectations, motivating staff, performance management

Excellent Property Management Skills, knowledge of local vendors, contractors, trades

Tactical experience with HVAC, Security Systems and general maintenance

Solutions oriented, able to think outside the box

Must be flexible with work schedules for occasional events

Strong customer service orientation and exceptional communication skills

Attention to detail
