Engineering Standards Group Leader

Description:

The Engineering Standards Group Leader is the Ministry’s senior specialist dedicated to the development of provincial engineering standards and processes that ensure resource road transportation systems are designed, built, maintained, deactivated and administered in a safe and effective manner. The position exercises authoritative engineering judgment and determinations regarding resource road engineering practices and activities by ensuring engineering standards remain practicable and consistent with other legislation and with operational requirements, core goals and objectives of the Ministry. The position contributes to legislative and policy changes, develops standards, procedures and guidance, and provides expert, authoritative advice and provincial level analysis on professional and technical engineering and resource road administrative issues.
