Description:
Work with State-of-the-Art Aerodynamics Toolset and play a pivotal role in improving and securing the sustainable future of aviation;
Develop, adapt and apply computational aerodynamics methods and processes;
Assess high-lift aerodynamics characteristics and performance of aircraft;
Analyze numerical results and assess their validity leveraging wind-tunnel and flight test data;
Participate in the transformation of Airbus Canada engineering capabilities being involved with the aerodynamics team in Canada and in Europe to develop and improve the current and future platforms.
As the ideal candidate,
You have a Master or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience;
You have experience and aptitudes in Computational Aerodynamics. Experience in high-lift aerodynamics would be an asset;
You have experience with CATIA V5 including surface lofting workbenches;
You have knowledge of Python and other programming languages. Experience with data science analytic techniques would be an asset;
You have a passion for aviation and an aptitude for complex problem solving and innovation;
You are detail oriented and have a good sense for process optimization;
You have excellent communication & presentation skills.
