What you will do
Work with internal and external partners to support the Residential Program Design team’s goals and objectives from the technical perspective.
From the technical perspective, understand software inputs and output to support the development of excel based algorithm that converts output variables into savings claim
Develop integrated algorithms to ensure agreed saving are accounted from project submissions that supports savings claim.
Provide project management for new prescriptive measure research efforts
Regularly engage with other DSM program groups to keep abreast of program developments and share any mass market perspectives as appropriate.
Communicate emerging issues and recommendations both within the team and to partners to ensure they have relevant information on an ongoing basis.
Assist other team members in responding to queries related to Enbridge Technical Resource Manual (TRM)
Manage internal stakeholder relationships (residential program design, evaluation, tracking and reporting, strategy) with a focus on ensuring DSM program alignment
Enable cross-functional teamwork
Participate on various committees and forums to share leading practices, introduce innovative ideas to the organization, and influence emerging regulations
Who you are
University Degree in Engineering
Exposure to HVAC and energy systems
Membership with the Professional Engineers of Ontario as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
2 to 8 years’ energy efficiency technologies experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent skills in analyzing and interpreting large data sets.
Proficient computer software skills: Microsoft office package (word, excel, power point).
Experience with project management
Preferred:
Knowledge of HOT2000 energy modelling software
Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP).
Knowledge of energy efficiency codes, regulations, and standards.
