Educational Recruiter & Social Media Specialist

As a successful candidate you will have to excel at communicating as you will be responsible for screening, recruiting, and interviewing prospective students for our Art & Design programs. You will contact and meet high school teachers and counsellors to explain the benefits of a McKenzie College education.You will organize in-class presentations at high schools throughout New Brunswick & PEI and participate in the AARAO tour held each Fall. Timely input into our CRM and follow-up of all leads will be part of your daily routine. You will provide information regarding admission requirements and program benefits including Financial Aid options and Scholarships with email or phone call as appropriate. You will be researching and coordinating annual marketing events for the college and hosting booths at trade shows and coordinating Open House events and Student For a Day (SFAD) activities. This position requires some travel with the use of your personal vehicle with reimbursement for mileage & other business-related expenses and may include some overnight stays.

Additionally, you will be leading our presence on Social Media with frequent posts for which you may have to take photographs and video. Your input will be appreciated for running marketing campaigns, including email strategies, information sessions, and networking events, to ensure our College is present and known to potential candidates.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in business or communications
• A minimum of one year of recruiting experience, preferably in a post-secondary setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
• Knowledge of current trends and advancements in the recruiting process
• Extensive knowledge of Social Media marketing
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment
