Educational Assistant

Description:

The successful candidate will be providing one-on-one support for our students. The school is located in the town of Peace River and serves students from grades 5-8. The school offers a high quality core academic program, consisting of English, French Immersion and French Second Language and a wide range of exploratory courses which include Art, Drama, Home Economics and Band. Qualifications: Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent Experience and/or training working with students in a junior/senior high school setting Skills: Ability to work with children with varied skill levels, needs and abilities Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment and accountability Requirements: Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check Please note, record check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application.
