Editor

Description:

Writing clear and compelling content is second nature to you. You find yourself proofreading everything and take great pleasure in catching typos, dangling participles, and resolving subject-verb disagreements. You know the CP Style Guide won’t help you decide what to wear. You have a knack for transforming complex concepts and stuffy text into easily understood and engaging copy. You know WordPress and how content drives advertising. Maybe you’re a blogger. Maybe you have a website or have helped build websites for your friends. You love creating order out of chaos and thrive on juggling priorities. You do whatever it takes to get the job done.

  • Manage the Senior Designer and Editorial Assistant as they provide support to the Franchise Canada Publications team through design and content development
  • Maintain and manage relationships with freelance writers, content contributors, and publishing vendors
  • As part of a team, develop and launch new products and services that will benefit the Association’s members
  • Attend and assist at CFA events as required
  • Assist in special projects and other tasks as assigned by CFA leadership
