Description:
The eCommerce Merchandising & Content Specialist will work within the Canadian eCommerce team in helping to define and deploy best-in-class customer experiences on our owned digital platform, YETI.ca. Our website is more than a shopping experience; it also represents the pinnacle expression of our brand. As such, you will help execute a strategy that unites content and commerce in a way that engages consumers and drives high converting shopping experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and foster a growth-oriented digital content strategy alongside Digital Leadership
- Manage tactical product lifecycle for the site, including sku and content set up within SFCC
- Adjust product positioning on site and take lead in campaign sku curation in accordance to DTC objectives and inventory positions
- Take an active role in website operations, executing on strategy for new products and launch campaigns
- Responsible for site content setup and activation for campaigns and other content initiatives
- Collaborate closely with Marketing on execution of seasonal campaign calendars
- Provide recommendations based on data insights, and help to solve problems and spot opportunities with our product and brand experiences
- Create briefings to Marketing on specific needs of YETI.ca, with regards to product story-telling for various customer segments
- Review and assist in briefing and implementing copy translations in defined brand voice that supports the go-to-market strategy and launch of new products and product updates
- Tightly monitor category and SKU-specific metrics, taking a deep and consistent view of product performance down at the impression level, traffic by source, etc.
- Partner with Digital leadership and IT to improve frontend and backend ecommerce functionality
- Work alongside internal teams to manage outside vendor relationships
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or eCommerce or related field of study
- At least 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education or work experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in digital merchandising, eCommerce site operations, or site publishing
- Bilingual in English and French considered a strong asset
- Hands-on experience with technical site merchandising required; Experience with SFCC and its 'Business Manager' functions preferred
- Ability to deliver results in evolving framework with shifting priorities and technology
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, site analytics tools and familiarity with content management tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and manage relationships with cross functional resources and outside vendors
- Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, even when they are not fully defined
- An obsession with the user experience and interaction, website navigation, hierarchy, and content
- Detail oriented self-starter
