Description:
One of the ways Samaritan’s Purse Canada (SPC) has had open doors to share the gospel is through the shoebox gift program of Operation Christmas Child (OCC). We are looking to fill a contract role with a dynamic, self-motivated individual, who can provide the necessary administrative coordination for the OCC Operations Team. This individual will be responsible for facilitating the shipping and tracking of domestic shoebox transportation, and to maintain relationships with logistic partners and volunteers. This Logistics Coordinator will be accountable to develop, maintain, and coordinate the logistical systems for shoebox collection and distribution within Canada. This role includes direct logistical support for Processing Centers, Collection Center Coordinators and Corporate Transportation partners across Canada, in addition to tracking inventory and process documentation. This individual will help SPC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry and the aforementioned functions as an integral member of the OCC department. The successful candidate will fulfill a maternity leave contract position in the Calgary head office.
