Reporting to the District General Manager (DGM) the District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for overseeing and leading multiple The Source stores within their assigned district. Their objective is to maximize sales and profits through the effective management of Associates, inventory, expense control, and fixed assets by:

Ensuring all Store Managers (SM)are coached and trained to drive results, and deliver exceptional customer experience for all lines of business: Consumer Electronics (CE), Bell Residential Services (BRS) and wireless
Ensuring and supporting all SM to ensure they conduct business with respect to the Brand Standards
Ensuring execution and engagement towards The Source vision
Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all Store Managers (SM)are coached and trained to drive results, and deliver exceptional customer experience for all lines of business: Consumer Electronics (CE), Bell Residential Services (BRS) and wireless
  • Holding the SM accountable for achieving targets and quality metrics for all lines of business: CE, BRS and wireless
  • Managing the performance and the behavior of SM in alignment with the company standards in order to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Holding the SM accountable for a quality Onboarding for all new Associates, including coaching and training in a timely manner
  • Communicating relevant changes regarding policies, procedures, product knowledge, operational requirements, and brand standards to the SM
  • Analyze and leverage a large variety of reports in order to take efficient decisions to grow the business and to explore new opportunities
  • Ensure expenses are kept within the operational budget
  • Providing additional leadership support to the DGM

Ensuring and supporting all SM to ensure they conduct business with respect to the Brand Standards

  • Holding the SM accountable for following up on Service Pride to ensure all stores within the district meet established store operational and appearance standards
  • Holding the SM accountable for ensuring all Associates adhere to The Source Code and follow up as necessary to correct unwanted or inappropriate behaviors and/or results
  • Ensuring all Associates work in respect to all Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and other Company policies in order to mitigate financial risks
