Description:

Corby Spirit and Wine Limited, part of the Pernod Ricard global network, is seeking a self-driven District Manager to manage and grow a sales territory covering Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, and Timmins. This role focuses primarily on retail sales, with some responsibility for the Licensee business. The ideal candidate should reside in Sudbury and will have the autonomy to shape strategies and drive sales growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Management: Independently manage sales activities across Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, and Timmins, identifying growth opportunities and overseeing account management.
  • Sales Growth: Increase distribution and visibility of core and agency brands within retail and private stores.
  • Promotional Execution: Execute merchandising and promotional programs aligned with national and regional sales strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with retail and licensee accounts, acting as a trusted advisor for product knowledge and promotional initiatives.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of account visits, sales activities, and competitor insights using Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience (experience in the wine, spirits, or beverage industry preferred).
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent territory management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Resides in or willing to relocate to Sudbury, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the assigned territory (occasional overnight stays required for Timmins and Sault Ste. Marie).
  • Company vehicle OR car allowance provided.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in wine, spirits, or a related field (an asset).
