As the Director of Client Services, you will act as the key bridge between agency growth and client success, ensuring strong partnerships, overseeing high-value relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This is a high-impact leadership role, perfect for a client-focused, revenue-driven professional with a proven track record in agency leadership and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and empower the Account Director team to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Drive client retention, growth, and contract renewals by strengthening relationships and delivering value.
  • Oversee high-value client relationships, acting as a strategic advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all client strategies align with WJ’s creative and strategic capabilities, driving effective outcomes.
  • Optimize internal processes for better efficiency, collaboration, and profitability.
  • Work cross-functionally with Strategy, Creative, Digital, and Production teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Focus Areas:

Client Growth & Retention

  • Build and deepen relationships with key clients.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, aligning WJ’s services to clients’ goals and objectives.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage client satisfaction, renewal strategies, and handle escalations when necessary.

Revenue & Profitability

  • Manage and grow a large and diverse client portfolio.
  • Oversee pricing, scope management, and contract structuring to protect profitability.
  • Motivate and drive performance within the Account Director team, fostering a results-driven culture.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Guide, coach, and develop a high-performing client services team.
  • Align client needs with agency capabilities to consistently deliver outstanding work.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and Account teams to ensure smooth transitions from new sales to active client management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in client services, account management, or agency leadership (marketing, branding, or advertising preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar client portfolios.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring Account Directors and driving team performance.
  • Expertise in marketing strategy, brand development, and integrated campaigns.
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, balancing multiple clients and priorities.
