Director It Data Platform

Description:

• Partners with teams from product, to infrastructure and application development. Leads continual improvements within platforms and services that allow decreased time to market for new customer experiences.
• Ensures teams have appropriate support to meet goals and ensure that project risks are identified, mitigated and communicated to stakeholders.
• Promotes a culture of data-driven operations by ensuring that all application functions and screens are deeply instrumented and monitored.
• Ensures operational efficiency and availability of all systems and applications.
• Ensures that the platforms and services are compliant with industry and government regulations, while protecting our data assets with the highest levels of security.
• Promotes adoption of systems/tools/processes where appropriate.
• Promotes a strong customer service and business-oriented ethic in the entire team.
• Prepares the capital and operating budgets for the cost center and analyzes interdepartmental reports as they relate to the cost center. Achieves cost center projections through labor expense and administrative expense controls.
• Build and lead a best-in-class team and facilitate their success in maintaining and improving the confidence of internal and external constituencies
• Lead and inspire IT teams to develop and establish a high performing, service driven culture committed to failing fast, leaning out waste and, delivering business value.
• Develop leaders and team members for building a pipeline of succession; provide ongoing feedback and coaching related to performance; prioritizing associate engagement and being a champion for diversity.
