Director, Integration & Transformation Office

 

Description:

The Director, Integration and Transformation Office will be responsible for leading cross functional work streams focused on integration initiatives across the entire organization, primarily focused on the strategic integration of newly acquired businesses to maximize growth. This role is responsible for driving coordinated execution of the most critical enterprise integration initiatives to deliver on the strategic and financial objectives, and will help to define and support the objectives of the Transformation Office with a focus on high impact integration workstreams. This position will help build out the critical integration function and team at Spin Master, and ensure the deployment of Spin Master’s integration process at all stages.

 

The right candidate will implement Project Management capabilities to ensure that activities and resources are appropriately aligned and will provide thought partnership and analytical support to the project leaders and teams.

 

The Director of Integration must demonstrate a critical blend of both strong strategic management and cross-functional leadership capabilities and a strong track record of successful execution of complex enterprise initiatives.


How will you create impact?

  • Post-Merger Integration; Act as the key integration resource ensuring that all aspects of the integration are successfully executed.

    • Refine the integration plans across all key functional areas.

    • Monitor and ensure strong communications with key internal and external stakeholders.

    • Ensure that all reporting and tracking systems work seamlessly.

    • Troubleshoot with all internal and external stakeholders, provide updates to leadership regarding progress, e.g. flash reporting, pulse-checks.

    • Track metrics associated with integration effectiveness and success.

  • Establish effective processes/protocols/responsibilities to monitor and address issues.

  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation; the role will be expected to continually innovate, looking for smarter ways to do things, e.g., identify and consolidate integration best practices.

  • Improve integration processes and systems to develop common approaches and drive efficiencies.

  • Optimize and embed integration capabilities across Spin Master.

  • Architect development of project management and change management capabilities at the company, including contributing and demonstrating best practice approaches, project governance frameworks and processes and toolkits which will be applied throughout the organization.

  • Proactively shape, drive and deliver large scale, highly complex enterprise initiatives, serving as a strategic and executional partner and advisor to business owners and senior leadership.

  • Oversee and facilitate cross-functional teams in defining and tracking project goals, deliverables, milestones, resources, budget and schedule.

  • Identify and manage critical interdependencies, determine, monitor, elevate and help to mitigate areas of risk.

  • Own prioritization of workstreams and set and measure metrics to track progress against objectives.

  • Lead change management efforts on critical complex programs and initiatives, designing and executing change strategies within and across key enterprise initiatives.

  • Travel required (30-50% of time).
