Description:
The Product Delivery Lead acts as the voice customer & business in the squad, representing and driving outcomes needs across multiple delivery teams (squads) to ensure business and end-user satisfaction. They are an integral part of the Digital Identity team and contributes to the realization of the digital identity Value Stream strategy and OKRs by aligning and prioritizing business goals with actionable results, they bring a strategic view to manage tactical delivery of products or product components, aligned to the value stream and segment priorities and ensures that the most important features get implemented first based on the customer/stakeholder needs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Builds and refines the user story backlog for one or more squads; prioritizing based on value and alignment to our Value Stream priorities, while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features defined.
- Ensures the voice of the customer/stakeholder is prominent and accurate in the definition of user stories in collaboration with Product team members
- Reviews and contributes to the value stream roadmap.
- Specify and effectively communicate desired outcomes for current and future capabilities across the squad(s)
- Ensures the backlog is visible, clear, and understood by all squad members.
- Incorporates feedback from stakeholder demos, interviews, user research, and engineering into the squad backlog.
- Responsible for maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring the product development features in each sprint iteration adhere to DOR-Definition of Done and Acceptance criteria.
- Collaborates closely with Value Stream team and business stakeholders to achieve business priorities & initiative and supports high performing teams to produce successful deliverables and work effectively by driving integration, alignment, and continuity of delivery across teams.
- Bring transparency about the team’s progress and agile processes by defining and maintain agile metrics and measurements of delivery (e.g., velocity, work in progress, etc.).
- Facilitate agile ceremonies for the team including sprint planning, sprint review, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Manage Scrum of scrums
- Helps to Identify trade-offs between short and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and stakeholders
- Identify, manage, and help mitigate issues and risks, by raising and removal of impediments for the team for quick resolution.
- Conduct demos and retros after sprints and ensure actions are assigned and completed to continuously improve the ecosystem for the squad
- Coordinate release management activities including scope and Impacts of Releases, creation of sign-off documentation and tracking, release communications to stakeholders, ensuring test completion in all environments (Dev, SIT, UAT and Prod), Manage Triage channel/emails to support issues during stakeholder testing, post release monitoring
