The Digital Marketing Specialist works closely with the Fundraising and Digital Teams and is focused on growing the Foundation’s email list through digital acquisition and retention efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Review/audit current digital retention and acquisition efforts and use KPIs to monitor growth and attrition of email list
  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns and supporting content to grow email list through retention and acquisition using various digital marketing tactics
  • Produce and analyze reports and use learnings to optimize campaigns
  • Write marketing content for different digital channels (email, social, web, etc.)
  • Work closely with Digital, Communications, Public Engagement and Community Giving teams to ensure public-facing campaigns are aligned
  • Coordinate with project leads and coordinators for content approval and to identify opportunities to amplify projects
  • Contribute expertise to French digital marketing campaigns
  • Use digital and social media tools including Marketo, Salesforce, Engaging Networks, WordPress and New/Mode
  • Make basic image updates/optimization for web and mobile using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

 

Qualifications


Education and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital marketing, including email and social media production, or equivalent training/education.
  • Experience optimizing digital marketing campaigns based on solid data analysis and testing.
  • Experience deploying online marketing tactics such as SEM/SEO, display ads, social media, etc.
  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles an asset.
  • Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS an asset.
  • Experience and/or training on decolonization and working collaboratively and effectively with diverse social movements an asset.
