Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for numerous activities, including:
SEO:
Increase search rankings for relevant keywords in specific target audience of industrial buyers, using SEO best practices
SEM and Digital Ad Optimization:
- Achieve highly efficient return on investment for significant ad spend across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other digital ad networks relevant to our target audience, using best practices of SEM.
- Optimize ad strategy including structuring of bid strategy, copy, targeting, and rotation
Social:
On select targeted social channels, increase engagement with our published content leads to greater form traffic
Web:
- Optimize web forms to enable high conversion rates, information capture to support lead segmentation and effective drip campaigns, and meaningful insights from analytics
- Occasionally support ad hoc requests for minor updates to other aspects of our website (major efforts to be outsourced)
Analytics:
- Implement conversion tracking and lead source attribution
- A/B test content for ads, organic content, and web
- Synthesize a clearer picture of where we are achieving desired results and where we are missing out on key segments of opportunity
Collaborative Team Member:
Through insights you generate, you will also have a significant degree of influence in informing decisions in non-digital areas that are managed by other members of the marketing team.
These areas include:
- Written content (e.g., Press Releases, blogs)
- Collateral content (e.g., sales decks, core messaging, brochures)
- Non-digital marketing material (e.g., trade shows, publisher engagements, media contacts)
Additional Opportunities to Contribute:
- Assisting with the development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy
- Generating creative and search engine optimised content including images and stories
- Sharing posts to social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Designing, creating and managing our customer lists and campaigns using marketing automation services
- Engaging with our community across our social media platforms
- Creating blogs independently, with guidance on topics and content
- Coordinating PR initiatives
Skills & Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Digital media specialist or Digital marketing
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and SEM
- Experience in the creation, execution and measurement of digital marketing campaigns and activities
- An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines while ensuring quality output
- Solid knowledge of Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign) and media editing software
- Familiar with web design and content management systems
- Excellent analytical and project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Individuals must have high initiative, be positive, detail-oriented, be adaptive and receptive to change, work well under pressure within tight deadlines and be capable of working with minimal direction
- Ability to think creatively and to work well both as part of a team and as an individual contributor
- Prior experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify and Meta Ads Manager is an asset.
- Prior experience working in B2B marketing, public relations, and/or graphic design is an asset.
- The ability to speak French is an asset.
