Description:
You will work with Account Managers on the Sales team in a client-facing role that will support all transactional digital sales. As the Digital inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the execution of all aspects of digital transactional campaigns under advertiser timelines. You will be the key player in campaign execution and the digital specialist for all direct and programmatic guaranteed campaign sales.
You will contribute by:
- Work closely with Account Managers to know each advertiser’s performance objectives, key points of contacts. Be empowered to present recommendations, solutions, and implementation. This includes revenue generation and upselling.
- Support Account Managers with inventory insights, avails, and booking order in AdBook to complete insertion orders for client or agency approval.
- Assist digital Account Managers in the pre-sale process – assist in sourcing research, historical performance, reporting examples.
- Manage the day-to-day digital direct and programmatic guaranteed campaign details during post sales.
- Monitor and optimize live campaigns against the contracted goals and communicated KPI’s. Prepare, monitor, and analyze campaign performance reports. Highlight process efficiency opportunities and act on them.
- Effective communication throughout the campaign life cycle – clients/agencies, account managers and ad operations.
- Work with clients, internal stakeholders, and agencies in areas to ensure the successful launch of campaigns – completed on time, on budget and exceed customer expectations.
- Facilitate resolution of campaign issues and make changes to campaigns based on ad operations recommendations.
- Understand Corus Privacy, Site Terms of Use, IAB Standards, Google Analytics, CASL and understanding of ad standards. Include i-gaming, Kids Advertising, and Cannabis ad requirement guidelines.
- Keep up to date with general digital industry trends and performance of all Corus digital brands.
- Manage and process invoice discrepancies. Including credit stop issues against PG advertisers.
Skills and Experience you will bring:
- 3-5 years of media sales and/or ad operations experience
- Knowledgeable in the digital advertising landscape, specifically ad serving and related technologies: brand safety, viewability, measurement pixels and other common 3rd party verification. (IAS, MOAT, DV)
- Experience with digital platforms, ad exchanges, ad networks: DSPs, SSP DMPs. Understanding of third-party vendors, video, display, and mobile assets.
- Knowledge of Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel and AdBook is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with a heavy workload.
- Strong work ethic with clear leadership, ownership, and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinker – Identify the problem, analyze, weigh solutions, and provide a recommendation.
- Solid organizational, planning, time management and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented, positive, proactive approach to work.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work directly with clients as well as internal stakeholders across multiple teams.
