It's an exciting time to join the BC Wildfire Service’s Communications and Engagement team! The Digital Communications Coordinator reports to the Communications and Engagement Specialist and is responsible for producing a diverse range of communication materials and templates for the BC Wildfire Service in alignment with the Government of BC’s design standards. As part of these duties, the Digital Communications Coordinator will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships and act as creative counsel to support the BC Wildfire Service Communications and Engagement team and other provincial program areas.

The BC Wildfire Service is a unique provincial program tasked with preventing and managing unwanted wildfire on the landscape. With a workforce of approximately 1600, the BC Wildfire Service mandate is delivering effective wildfire management and emergency response support to protect values, while encouraging sustainable, healthy and resilient ecosystems.
