Reporting to the Sr Manager Resourcing & Planning, you will be empowered to:
Manage development and implementation of assigned digital communication initiatives and oversee the content design / creation and launch rollout of the related activities to deliver the enterprise’s goals and objectives Lead digital projects and new product launches on owned channels from inception to deployment as briefed in by Stakeholders
Completes operational requirements by building detailed project plans, running brief-in sessions as needed, scheduling, and assigning work to resources, and keeps track of all project deliverables
Provides digital thought leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Communications, Product & Brand Management, IT, and Digital Production and Development teams
Collaborate with assigned production vendors to ensure business requirements are met for digital marketing campaigns and provide performance assessment of same vendors
Contribute to planning and optimization of the Digital Communications executional processes
Stays on top of industry trends, seeks out and shares information on new digital capabilities, and looks for opportunities to apply innovative digital marketing on OLG digital channels.
Utilizes collaborative Digital Project Tools (Workfront, JIRA, Microsoft Teams etc), and able to quickly pick up and adopt new tools or systems used by the organization (eg. Adobe Experience Manager, Google Analytics etc.)
Handle volume effectively and be confident in prioritizing and delegating tasks
Highlight potential project risks and act proactively to resolve issues
Drive efficiencies and optimize timelines and development throughout the life of projects
Be a proactive problem solver, anticipate issues and be two steps ahead of the team at all times
Assume responsibility for all aspects of communications within a project cycle and find solutions to problems and limitations, be they technical or operational in nature
Responsible for quality assurance are varying points of the project life cycle to ensure objectives of the brief are met and the final product is delivered as intended
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in digital with a proven understanding of brand strategy and application in the digital space. | Solid background in leading digital projects from a business perspective, as well as experience with content marketing, ecommerce, CRM, and social media. | Familiarity with mobile and web analytics
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business management is preferred
