Digital Account Manager

 

Description:

The Digital account manager oversees the day-to-day activities within the online account(s) and the execution of customer orders, from initial briefing to campaign post-mortem, including, order entry, ad trafficking and creative management. To achieve this, the Digital account manager manages the fulfilment and optimization of campaigns in line with the customer’s requirements and expectations. In addition, the Digital account manager provides regular reports to the customer and the Account Executive on the delivery of the campaign.

 

Success in this role relies on the ability of the Digital account manager to build a reputation of “trusted advisor” within the customer business and to develop strong relationships with key contacts. Effective planning and organisational skills coupled with an ability to identify opportunities for new business / up selling are also keys to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trafficking and launching campaigns based on requested launch date.
  • Testing and performing QA for advertising creative to ensure functionality within Bell Media network
  • Send clients ad specifications based on their campaign and provide any assistance required to ensure creative meets with these specifications.
  • Provide clients with reporting and optimization suggestions.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting campaign, creatives and tag issues within Desktop/Mobile Web, App, Connected TV, Podcast and VOD to ensure full delivery.
  • Billing revisions.
  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner and informing the Account Executive and Senior Manager
  • Works closely with the product and content team to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
  • Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met.
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set client expectations.
  • Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
  • Reports to the Associate Director, Account Management & Digital Platforms providing regular input on account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis.
  • Schedule and manage online advertising campaigns using multiple systems and tools (GAM, Cadent, OMS) including all required filters, settings and targeting criteria
  • Identify opportunities within the account for up selling and cross selling and work closely with the Account Executive on proposals for new business

Critical Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • 4 years + experience in Digital Ad Trafficking, Account Management, Digital Ad Operations preferably with a Publisher.
  • 2 years experience in programmatic trading.
  • Experience in Google Ad Manager ad server is a must.
  • Must have experience in trafficking their own Display, Video Creatives across Desktop, Mobile Web, App, Connected TV and Video on Demand platforms.
  • Working knowledge with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is required.
