Devops Engineer

Description:

VDart Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Vancouver, BC on a contract basis. This role involves designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure (AWS), automating processes, and ensuring software deployment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

📌 Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment.
📌 Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
📌 Automate processes using Terraform, Python, and Bash Shell.
📌 Administer and maintain Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker, and other essential tools.
📌 Apply CI/CD best practices, including branching strategies, GitOps, and zero-downtime deployments.
📌 Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Make, Nexus, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
📌 Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless software integration and delivery.

Job Requirements:

✔ 5+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline design, cloud infrastructure management, and automation.
✔ Expertise in Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Terraform, and GitLab.
✔ Strong hands-on experience with Python and Bash Shell scripting on GNU/Linux.
✔ Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
