What will you do?
- Provide Administrative support for the DATS Advisory Group
- Provide reception duties
- Financial Administration including Ariba invoicing, signing authority, Corporate Credit Card, travel and training
- Maintain Google Drive, email groups, phone lists, and tracking spreadsheets
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes
- Coordinate training, computer upgrade requests and Newsletter email distribution
- Provide support for in-person public inquiries
- Monitor DATS and DATS Advisory Group email accounts, responding to and forwarding inquiries for followup
- Other related duties
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 including business subjects with an emphasis on general office practices or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college
- A minimum of two (2) years diversified experience in general office practices and procedures including providing support to the management team, transposing data, generating reports, troubleshooting issues, creating correspondences and recording meeting minutes

Skills required for success:
- Exceptional time management and organization skills, with ability to efficiently and effectively prioritize work and manage competing priorities
- Ability to maintain records and prepare comprehensive reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize and prepare various materials (such as meeting minutes) with high level of accuracy
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, Meet, etc)
- Strong skills in operating standard and electronic business office equipment and personal computers

Conditions of Employment:
- Hire is dependent on a Criminal Records Check (CRC) security clearance that is satisfactory to the City of Edmonton and is a requirement of this position, there may be a cost associated with this requirement

- The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance
