Data Quality & Integration Analyst

The Data Quality & Integration Analyst will join the team of a high-growth and dynamic Employee Benefits software and services company. The ideal candidate will love data and want to make a difference in a growing company working alongside both our software developers and client services team. This role requires taking ownership of a large and diverse number of complex integrations between the Effortless platform and insurance carriers, benefit providers, as well as payroll and HR platforms. We are seeking individuals who love technology and are not afraid to immerse themselves in the data and the details of our business to improve the way employee benefits are delivered to people across Canada. This position is a full time permanent position with a competitive compensation and benefits package, based on-site in Edmonton, AB. (Some of) What You’ll be Doing Developing transferable skills in data integration implementation and data quality analysis Learning new tools and technologies as Effortless Admin evolves its technology stack and adopts the latest methodologies and practices in the cloud Creating value for Effortless Admin’s customers by ensuring high quality, high trust data Furthering your abilities as a subject matter expert in employee benefits data Taking ownership of all integration tasks with employers and insurance carriers Working independently in completing data quality and data integration tasks Having customer facing conversations independently on a regular basis, and be able to articulate data quality nuances and issues to the customer so that the customer can understand the root cause and any resolution necessary Contributing meaningfully to process improvements for the team What You’ll Bring Eagerness to learn, a detail-oriented mindset, and a creative and collaborative approach to problem solving Ability to query and manipulate relational databases with SQL Ability to share data quality analysis results with customers (via Excel and other tools) Experience with the principles of data analysis and data quality Ability to adapt to changing technology and employee benefits environments Would Love For You To Have Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field, or equivalent technical experience Experience with value based care models Experience in an agile environment Advanced SQL skills or familiarity with other languages such as Python Experience using collaboration tools such as Asana and Jira Experience analyzing employee benefits data (claims and/or employee records)
