Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the team to support laboratory operations and quality assurance activities

  • Track workload and work products, including database entry and reporting

  • Assist with preparing and distributing work products and weekly and monthly reports

  • Manage office needs including ordering supplies, meeting set-up, and facilitating any IT or facility issues

  • Prepare basic correspondence

  • Prepare basic schedules, calendar, and timeline documents

  • Format items in Word or Excel

  • With training, provide laboratory operations support, such as inventories and glassware cleaning, as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 3+ years of related experience, preferably in the environmental analytical field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

  • MUST be authorized to work in the US; MUST be able to pass an EPA background check to obtain access to U.S. federal property

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Government consulting support experience

  • Experience working at DoD, EPA, or other Federal facilities

Professional Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and able to meet deadlines

  • Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Capable of working independently

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
