Description:
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of the team to support laboratory operations and quality assurance activities
Track workload and work products, including database entry and reporting
Assist with preparing and distributing work products and weekly and monthly reports
Manage office needs including ordering supplies, meeting set-up, and facilitating any IT or facility issues
Prepare basic correspondence
Prepare basic schedules, calendar, and timeline documents
Format items in Word or Excel
With training, provide laboratory operations support, such as inventories and glassware cleaning, as needed
Basic Qualifications:
High School Degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years of related experience, preferably in the environmental analytical field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
MUST be authorized to work in the US; MUST be able to pass an EPA background check to obtain access to U.S. federal property
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Government consulting support experience
Experience working at DoD, EPA, or other Federal facilities
Professional Skills:
Strong organizational skills and able to meet deadlines
Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Capable of working independently
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
