As a Customer Service Representative, Sales, you will be the initial point of contact for customers who are interested in our Health & Dental, Life or Travel insurance products and will also support various campaigns and initiatives. You will interact with customers via e-mail, chat or over the phone and as our business evolves, you will use digital tools that are made available, to effectively create sales opportunities. You will be responsible for the effective qualification and management of leads and successful completion of new business applications, thus ensuring that established sales objectives are met and contributing towards the overall success of the business. Affinity Markets has relationships with numerous high-profile associations and external businesses; therefore, you can directly impact the Company’s reputation, profitability and image.
This is a unique opportunity for those with the right skills to obtain the LLQP license. Should you not already have this requirement, Manulife will cover the cost of an accredited education provider for the Harmonized LLQP course, as well as the exam and licensing fees .
Key Accountabilities:
Meet sales, service, quality and productivity objectives
Responsible for interacting with new prospects via e-mail or through our chat interface and digital tools and the handling of inbound and outbound calls,
Conduct needs analysis and provide advice to prospects by effectively communicating the value and benefits of the recommended plans
Conduct sales development standard processes and leverage available technology such as Salesforce to successfully develop new leads and complete applications
Support campaigns, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as determined by the leadership team
Provide a high level of service, accurate information and the appropriate solutions to new and existing customers
Raise issues, concerns and trends to the leadership team
Maintain a high level of product knowledge, operational process and services provided by Affinity Markets

Qualifications:
Experience in a telephone and/or sales role
Post-secondary degree or equivalent work/business experience
Life License (LLQP) is required or to be obtained within 3 months of start date
Demonstrated ability to persuade and negotiate through consultation over the phone and possess active listening skills
Effective client record management, with attention to detail in the gathering and accurate recording of all customer information
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple day-to-day tasks
Strong computer skills, and a general knowledge level of the MS Office suite of products
Bilingual in English and French is an asset
